What's up! What's up!
I'm pretty stoke right now.
Last Saturday, some of you might know, the Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 X SUPREME were release at exactly 9am (PDT). I know this because Chen-Wei and myself woke up at 8am with hundreds of other people around North America to basically wait online to get a pair each.
As I was watching the countdown comfortably laying in bed and literally snacking on Cheerios. Yes guys, I keep a small pot beside my bed just in case I get hungry. That way I don’t have to go through the hassle of getting up and walk to the kitchen. I'm sure some of you have some snacks hiding somewhere in your room. It's so much more convenient. Don't you think?
Anyhow, as we were patiently waiting, I will admit, it felt like I was playing a game of battleship with bunch of strangers online.
Who’s going to hit it right?
It might sound like a piece of cake but trust me, it takes a certain kind of precision, quick fingers, and determination because once that clock hits 00:00. Game on!!
You better be fast on your mouse or keyboard or next thing you see is: SOLD OUT!
Seriously, it is pure luck!
Anyhow, we opted for size 10-10.5 in men. Made total sense since those are usually the most popular size, especially for resale purposes. And, personally I am not a big fan of lining up for any Jordan, Air Max, Yezzy or any other sneakers for that matter. I just don't have the patience for it and I'll just wait until everyone is tired of wearing them and rock them all over again. Actually, I am lying. I waited online once for the second release of the White Nike Flyknit Trainer.
I freaking love those!!
But you know what is funny about this story? It is that Chen-Wei ended up with zero pair while I ended up with a pair in both colour way.

Nike and Supreme collaboration on these footwear design is definitely unique and has it’s own “je ne sais quoi”. The reflective-speckled details on both side of the shoes with the blue swoosh and Supreme logo on the laces will make a lot of Supreme collector happy.
Looking at them the first time, I wasn't really a fan but when I opened the box I sort of grew to like them more and more. I think the small details make all the difference. They aren't quite my style but I do like seeing them on other people.

What’s your thoughts on the colourways? Would you go for the white or black?
